Open Your Eyes to Litter - Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful is reminding students, teachers and kids of all ages to download our educational activity books, Open Your Eyes to Litter. This series of five books provides hands-on learning for grades K through six and can supplement online learning during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Each book addresses PA Department of Education Academic Standards for Environment, Ecology and Geography and has a supplemental Teacher’s Guide that suggests multi-discipline educational activities that expands on the information, ideas, and activities that are included in each book.

Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Adoption Program - According to the recently released, Pennsylvania Litter Research Study, conducted with funding from DEP, PennDOT and Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, there are more than 502 million pieces of litter on Pennsylvania roads. Your help is needed more than ever. We all need to take responsibility for clean and beautiful neighborhoods. Adopt a road, trail, waterway, park or other public space you care about through the Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful Adoption Program.

Report an Illegal Dumpsite - As an unintended consequence of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, state parks, state forests, game lands and communities are seeing an increase in littering, including personal protective equipment such as gloves, wipes, and masks as well as an increase of larger items being dumped.

If you come across an illegal dumpsite, Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful wants you to report it as part of our Illegal Dump Free PA Program, https://illegaldumpfreepa.org/report-it/. Dumpsite information will be logged and shared with local enforcement authorities, as well as local affiliates and state agency and other partners.
